In the summer of 2022, as part of Eco Ambassador, Centre for Sustainable Development Earth Institute, Columbia University, I learnt how to use ArcGIS story maps to create a convincing narrative around your climate action.
I used this opportunity to create a story map around Off grid Rainwater harvesting that you can see here:
A select few story maps were picked to be presented as part of the International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD) 2022. I was extremely honored to receive an email from the institute telling me they wanted me to present my Story Map in the conference.
Because of the lack of time, they allotted the amount of time and each presenter got around 5 minutes to show their Story Map.
I was caught off guard when I heard the meeting would be at 8 in the morning. This meant I’d have to wake quite early in my summer vacation! According to the agenda, I was the second presenter.

I practiced what I was going to say in the presentation, I had butterflies in my stomach. But once it started it just went smoothly!!
